Allocate a single Tag to a Product

In order to allocate a single Tag to a Product, you must first have an unallocated Tag and a Product registered in your Parsl dashboard.

1. Log into your account on the Parsl mobile app
2. Click Scan Tag at the bottom middle of the screen
3. Select Scan Parsl SmartTag or Scan barcode or Enter Serial Code

Scan Parsl SmartTag

1. Scan the Parsl SmartTag with your device camera
2. Confirm the details on the Unallocated SmartTag page are correct for the Tag you wish to use.
3. Click button Action menu
4. Click on the Select Allocate Parsl SmartTag to Product
5. Select a Package by choosing to Scan barcode (Blaze or Metrc) or Enter Serial Code
1. If Scan barcode, scan the barcode (Blaze or Metrc) using your device camera
2. If Enter Serial Code, enter the 8-9 character Blaze serial code or the 24 character Metrc serial code
6. Click button Submit
7. Confirm the details on the Package details page are correct for the Package you wish to use 
8. Click button Select Room
9. Select a Blaze Inventory Room from the drop-down menu
1. Only Rooms which are linked to Blaze Inventory will be displayed
10. Click button Submit
11. Confirm the details are all correct on the Product Details page

Scan barcode

1. Scan the barcode (Blaze or Metrc) with your device camera
2. Confirm the details on the Unallocated SmartTag page are correct for the Tag you wish to use.
3. Click button Action menu
4. Select Allocate Parsl SmartTag to Product
5. Select a Package by choosing to Scan barcode (Blaze or Metrc) or Enter Serial Code
1. If Scan barcode, scan the barcode (Blaze or Metrc) with your device camera
2. If Enter Serial Code, enter the 8-9 character Blaze serial code or the 24 character Metrc serial code
6. Click button Submit
7. Confirm the details on the Package details page are correct for the Package you wish to use 
8. Click button Select Room
9. Select the Blaze Inventory  Room from the drop-down menu 
1. Only Rooms which are linked to Blaze Inventory will be displayed 
10. Click button Submit
11. Confirm the details are all correct on the Product Details page

Enter Serial Code

1. Enter the 8 digit Parsl serial code for the unallocated Tag
2. Click button Submit
3. Confirm the details on the Unallocated SmartTag page are correct for the Tag you wish to use.
4. Click button Action menu
5. Select Allocate Parsl SmartTag to Product
6. Select a Package by choosing to Scan barcode (Blaze or Metrc) or Enter Serial Code
1. If Scan barcode, scan the barcode (Blaze or Metrc) with your device camera
2. If Enter Serial Code, enter the 8-9 character Blaze serial code or the 24 character Metrc serial code
7. Click button Submit
8. Confirm the details on the Package details page are correct for the Package you created
9. Click button Select Room
10. Select a Blaze Inventory Room from the drop-down menu 
1. Only Rooms which are linked to Blaze Inventory will be displayed
11. Click button Submit
12. Confirm the details are all correct on the Product Details page

Allocating a Tag to a Product registers the Product in the Parsl System. Performing this action will increase your inventory level of that Product by 1 in the Parsl System.
